Nice to Meet you! I’m Carrie.
Many people come to therapy because they know something isn't working the way they want it to. Maybe anxiety is getting in the way, grief feels heavier than expected, old patterns keep showing up, or you're struggling to create the life you truly want. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to figure it out alone.
I believe people are often far stronger and more resilient than they realize. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and meaningful change is built through many small steps over time. My goal is to help you identify what is keeping you stuck, explore what changes matter most to you, and support you as you move toward a more fulfilling life.
I especially enjoy working with individuals who are willing to be curious, honest, and reflective about their experiences. I naturally connect with people who enjoy meaningful conversations and want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives.
My clinical interests include substance use and recovery, grief, life transitions, anxiety, and helping people create lasting behavioral change. I utilize DBT-informed approaches and talk therapy while tailoring treatment to your individual needs and goals.
As a therapist, I want you to know that you are in the driver's seat. You set the pace, choose what feels safe to discuss, and decide what goals matter most. Therapy isn't about fixing you—because you aren't broken. It's about understanding yourself more deeply, identifying what's no longer serving you, and building a life that feels more aligned with who you want to be.
I offer services in both English and Spanish and welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I strive to create an environment where you feel respected, heard, and understood
Life doesn't have to stay the way it is today.
A Little About Me
When I'm not in the therapy office, you'll probably find me hiking, running, paddleboarding, gardening, camping, baking, reading a romance novel, or enjoying a good cup of coffee. I'm an early bird, a flexible planner, and someone who appreciates genuine conversations far more than small talk.
One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is witnessing people grow into the version of themselves they've always hoped was possible. I truly believe meaningful change can happen, and I'd be honored to be part of that journey with you.
