I want you to know every small step forward matters.
When you're overwhelmed, even small decisions can feel exhausting. You may know things need to change but have no idea where to start, or you've tried before and felt discouraged when nothing seemed to stick.
It's easy to wonder if you're doing enough or why things seem easier for everyone else. If you've been carrying stress, self-doubt, or emotions that feel hard to manage, it's understandable to feel unsure about what comes next.
You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes the hardest part is simply deciding you're ready to try something different.
We'll take things one step at a time. I enjoy helping people break big challenges into manageable pieces and teaching practical tools that can be used in everyday life.
You'll never be expected to have all the answers. We'll spend time understanding what's getting in your way, practicing new skills together, and finding approaches that fit your life instead of expecting you to fit into a one-size-fits-all plan.
My goal is for therapy to feel approachable and encouraging. We'll celebrate your progress, learn from setbacks without beating ourselves up, and focus on building confidence one step at a time.

Small steps can lead to meaningful change.
I'm currently completing my clinical training while providing free telehealth therapy for adults throughout Michigan. Before becoming a therapist, I gained experience working with individuals navigating addiction and recovery, which strengthened my understanding of resilience, behavior change, and the importance of meeting people without assumptions.
My work is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I enjoy helping people develop practical tools for managing emotions, navigating stress, and building confidence in everyday life. I believe therapy doesn't have to feel overwhelming. My goal is to help you make steady, meaningful progress by focusing on small changes that become sustainable over time.
I also have advanced training in Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT) and provide RO-DBT in a comprehensive way.
In our work together, I focus on helping you notice the patterns that keep showing up, understand what’s maintaining them, and practice new ways of responding that actually hold up in real life. We don’t just stay in insight—we work on what changes things outside of session too.
