Licensed Clinical social worker

I want you to know you don't have to do this perfectly.

A lot of the people I work with are burnt out from trying to hold everything together. On the outside, they look like they’re managing—but inside, they feel exhausted, alone, and unsure who they can really trust with what’s going on.

Many have learned to keep things to themselves because it hasn’t always felt safe or helpful to be fully honest with other people. If that’s you, I want you to know you don’t have to filter yourself here.

Therapy with me is active and collaborative. I’m going to ask you a lot of questions so we can really understand what’s going on—not just surface-level, but the patterns underneath it.

We won’t just talk about things. We’ll practice new ways of responding, both in session and in your day-to-day life. I’ll give you things to try between sessions, and we’ll look at what worked, what didn’t, and why.

I’ll be direct with you, but I’m not here to judge you. Most of my clients are already pretty hard on themselves. My job is to help you understand yourself better and stay with you as you learn how to do things differently.

Honesty without judgment—and support when you need it most.

When you work with me, you can expect me to be engaged, curious, and honest. I'm going to ask a lot of questions—not because I'm looking for a "right" answer, but because I want to understand how your mind works and what keeps pulling you back into the same patterns. My goal isn't just to help you feel better in the moment. It's to help you build lasting change that carries into your everyday life.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of Flexible Mind Therapy. My clinical foundation is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I have specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through the CTSA, which I've been integrating into my work for the past three years. I continue to deepen this specialization through ongoing consultation and advanced certification training. I also have advanced training in Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT) and provide comprehensive RO-DBT.

Whether we're practicing a new skill, planning an exposure, or slowing down to understand why something felt so difficult, you'll always know why we're doing what we're doing. I believe therapy works best when you understand the purpose behind the process, because that gives you something you can continue using long after therapy ends.
